DINE IN DESIGN

Vogue Living’s Dine in Design event combines the art of living with fashion, providing a creative space for experiential dining. Hosting Arabia’s leading architects and designers for a night of exquisite talent, each participant reveals a carefully curated tablescape. Comprising of our distinct collection of décor and tableware, Sawsan Haber and Seema Al-Mansoory share their unique artistic visions.

Founder of luxury design studio Dipiugi, Sawsan Haber creates sleek, contemporary interiors with striking design features. Describing where she draws her inspiration from, she tells us about her favourite artist, Zaha Hadid. “Her approach to architecture has always intrigued me. A rebel to the industry, she dared to be different and created beauty with boldness.”

Sawsan’s tablescape reflects a creative masterpiece through an abundance of warm floral bouquets against monochromatic tableware. The Lladro Guests suggest a playful, modern design style, while the Baccarat crystal vases reflect a timeless elegance. “I dressed my table with a poetic contrast in mind to communicate that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

Eva Interiors was established by Seema Al-Mansoory to showcase state of the art, opulent design. A sense of rich heritage and culture is prominent throughout her work, looking to Moroccan-born Alberto Pinto for his decorative style. “His distinct craftsmanship is a huge inspiration with influential clients such as European aristocrats and Qatari princess.”

The luxury French house of Baccarat served as the main inspiration for Seema’s tablescape with its iconic fine crystal. The Je Te Vois Flou chandelier is a showstopper, illuminating the Harcourt glassware and Bearbrick figurines on the table below. Originating from a region known for its hospitality, Seema enjoys welcoming friends to her table. “The ideal guest is one who appreciates the details and is willing to try new dishes.”
